Connect & Create

Calling all adults! Are you tired of doomscrolling? Are you looking for an excuse to get off your couch and meet new people? Then join other like-minded adults in the Close Community Room every second Tuesday, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, for Connect & Create. Participate in a guided craft project or make a new recipe. We'll provide all the materials. Or, if you'd rather, simply work on a puzzle, relax with a coloring book, or just bring your knitting and hang out. Upcoming Schedule: JULY 14 - SHRINKY DINKS: Make fun earrings and key chains out of Shrinky Dinks material. AUGUST 11 - BOOKMARKS: Make some beautiful bookmarks using alcohol ink. SEPTEMBER 8 - BOOK PAGE BOUQUET: Craft paper bouquets using old book pages, sheet music, tissue paper, and other materials. Registration is required for each session of Connect & Create and closes the day before the session. This program is open to patrons ages 14 and up.
