COVID-19 Impacts - This year 2020 was unlike any in recent memory. After a successful "We Love Auburn" month in February, nearly all of the "Main Street" economy was halted by stay-at-home orders and mandatory business closures in March.

Mural Art, Speedster Style - The Economic Restructuring Committee worked tirelessly to bring a mural to downtown Auburn in 2019. Much more went into the Speedster Dashboard mural than one might imagine.

Auburn Main Street’s focus in 2018 was collaboration. The Board and Committees have collaborated with many groups to bring projects and events to fruition, including but not limited to the City of Auburn, Downtown Auburn Business Association, Eckhart Public Library, and Community Foundation of DeKalb County.

Auburn, Ind.— The Auburn Development Advisory committee voted this month to update its name to more strategically align with its mission of supporting downtown Auburn. Now doing business as Auburn Main Street, the organization was established in 2009 by a group of community volunteers and is recognized by the State of Indiana’s Office of Community and Rural Affairs as Auburn’s official Main Street Organization. With a mission to encourage revitalization and sustainable growth, Auburn Main Street promotes and celebrates Auburn’s “Home of the Classics” legacy.
